Drive Clean testing....

My car is 5 years old do I need to do a drive clean test?...I think I read its now 7 years...my renewal is this May...........

When you get the paperwork in the mail to renew your plates it will say if you have to get it done or not.

they somehow have managed to get me 3 years in a row, and looking into it there was no time at which someone got a conditional pass. i just luckily managed to get caught up in red tape

every car with a build date after 1987 needs an emissions test

Not quite true. I'm in Barrie and I need to get it. I have family in Parry Sound and they are not required. I'm not sure where the line is but I'll bet it's just north of Barrie.

It is true if you live in a drive clean area...

Obviously if you don't live in an area where you need to be drive cleaned then you have nothing to worry about (which wasn't the question of the OP).

The line is approx. around Huntsville FWIW.
