Car history and options

Hi guys!

I just bought a 1994 bmw 325ic convertible but I need to pass the saftey check here in gatineau since I bought it from a guy in cornwall. Now they told me that I need Day running lights, but I am not sure if I have those on my car.
I also need to know if I have some "M-technik sport suspensions"

I want to know if someone could give me a car report with my VIN and also the options that my car has on it.

My VIN is: wbabj5324rjc80416

and my email is maddog9993@hotmail.com

Thanks!

If your car is Canadian, it will have daytime running lights.

As for the options, your best bet is just to call the dealer.

Congrats on the purchase!

Thanks for the reply!

But how do I know if my car is canadian? The thing is I went to pass the safety check and they told me that my day lights were not working. But then I thought to myself, maybe there isnt any on this one.

I'm still waiting for a reply from the bmw dealer! But I'm pretty sure I have to pay an amount to know everything about my car.

Are your odometer and speedometer in miles/mph, or km/kph?

If it's the latter, it's Canadian. Regardless, they need to be running for the safety. So you'll need to have them fixed. Even if it is an american car, you bought it from a guy in Cornwall and it should have been retrofitted to have the daytime running lights in order to be properly imported into Canada.

What do you mean by "hot" safety? By the way, here in quebec you can't do your safety check in any garage like in ontario. You have to go to a specific place for mecanical inspection, which is all connected to the saaq. This mean they check every little detail.

They are REALLY thorough compared to Ontario.

You could get an 'always on' headlight module from Canadian Tire and wire it to make it daytime running lamp legal.

Didn't know that. Maybe that's why you only need 1 safety there for the life of the car =\
