Just so people know, there has been a ton of interest lately and there are currently 5 serious lookers, 4 of which are in the states. Just trying to sort out logistics but if you're interested and would like some more info now is the time.

I actually saw this first on kijiji; I'm in saskatoon area. really interested but if your firm on the $8000 that might be too big a chunk out of the bank account.

If you want something with amazing mpg I got a 2007 zzr250 (kawasaki motorcycle) that gets 60-70 mpg. Spring isn't far away either lol. You can't go wrong fun-wise with a sport bike, even if its a little one (ok maybe cbr125's are pretty pathetic). I took this one to bc last summer and it was awesome.

Right now my bike addiction and bmw addiction are fighting, I still love my bike but if you're interested I'd be game for some sort of trade

-also sgi gives insurance for a steal on <400cc bikes, its $400something a year with no discount

There are tourings in the states that have either been imported from here, or from overseas so there's a way around it

DaveR - yes you're right, there are quite a few cars driving around the US that are imported and less than 25 years old, where there is a will there is a way, it seems.

Erik - I'll have to pass on the sport bike trade, thanks. My garage is already chock full of motorcycles!
