Question Wind deflector for convertible

I was looking into purchasing a wind deflector for my 2007 335i cabriolet but i'm hearing some mixed reviews. Anyone know if they're worth it? Do they actually keep the back seat cleaner and reduce wind noise for the driver? Or is it just a pretty add-on for people with too much money (which I am not) . IF your unsure about the part i'm referring too, it's the black removable folding piece that attaches to either side of the rear side wall of the back seat area. Any info would be appreciated as the part costs around $775 taxes in from the dealer.

Yes, it works well. You'll notice a lot less wind in the cockpit. PM Mike at Maranello, he will hook you up nice nice.

Worth every penny!!! Can have a conversation going much faster than the speed limit and almost no wind buffeting.

The windscreen is the best! I love it because it changes the air draft so it doesn't fly up the back of your head. At least that's how it is in my E46.

This is huge for the ladies as usually their hair is everywhere in a convertible. Plus I think the deflector makes the car look WAY more pimp.

If you found my comments useful, please take literally 2 seconds to vote for me in the Ultimate Blogger contest. Sorry to throw a shameless plug in, but first round is over tomorrow and I'm fighting in the Top 20. Thanks!
