Yup
I need either 95 M3 arms or 3 Series.
Ideally I want a set of Meyle HD arms which are $100 each. Going to have to wait for more money though.
I thought this car would be done by April, but I think it's going to take a little longer. I need to win the lottery or something

$100 ea? I bought a set over the winter and they were around 200 each + 70 for the poly bushes. I should have waited till now since our dollar is worth more but oh well.

Yeah they're like $90 each on Bavauto. But you have to run Offset bushings with them.

Should have some decent updates soon.
Just been waiting to collect some more parts money so I can get some more stuff.
New front control arms are on the way. Yesterday I put a new waterpump and thermostat in.
Will hopefully be doing the sunroof, brake pads, SS lines, and calipers today.
The "to-do" list is finally getting smaller:
Harnesses
Power Switch
Spacers
Exhaust
Rear Control Arms
Rear Springs
Alignment & Corner Balance
Might of forgotten something but that's all I can remember for now

So you're going to run non-offset arms with offset bushings? Is the net effect the same? The 96+ m arms are spendy.

Yup, only he's got solid offset "bushings". I ordered the same control arms with Kurt. Unfortunately I think one of the sets came damaged (one set didn't have the protective plastic around the ball joints and got ****ed around in shipping). I'm going to take pics today. I'll give the good set to Kurt if he needs them first while I wait for a new set which hopefully insurance should cover but I haven't heard back from the seller.
Anywhoo, I'm thinking of putting M3 offset bushings with these 95-m3 style control arms. I've spent a lot of time thinking about it and I can't see why if the 95-m3 can do it (which has the same shape control arms as 3-series), I can't do it. The only other player in here is the M3 spindles...
The way I see it in terms of caster (provided by the longer control arms/offset bushings) is: non-M < 95 m3 w/ offset bushings = 96 m3 w/ center bushings < 96 m3 w/ offset bushings.
96 m3 arms w/ offset bushings is what kurt's actually got on the m3 now and you can actually tell the wheel is further up in the wheel well, and I'm hoping this won't happen to me with the meyle hd arms (95 m3 replicas) with offset bushings.

Nope, I think that's just some hard rubbery stuff. Do you see the little hole/rip in the boot though?

Liquid electrical tape works great to seal small holes in boots.

Put some SS brake lines in tonight. As well as new PBR Ceramics, and some very low KM calipers. Look like new after a scrub.
A friend also dropped off a Sparco 6 Point at my house last night. Free
Getting two more for free this week as well.

Goodridge. And saying SS lines are a wear item is pretty silly. You couldn't be more wrong.
Especially when they're DOT approved.
