Disable DRL's on a 97

So I just picked up a set of DJ Auto headlights for my 1997 328i and can't wait to get them on. I have a few questions first though.

The headlights I currently have are garbage ebay type lights that have been on the car since I bought it. I plan to trash them once I do the switch, but with the current ones, my DRL's are always on. I would assume this would be the same for the DJ Auto's when I put them in.

What I was wondering if there is a way to disable to DRL's. Is it a wiring thing or would I need to replace a relay in the car or something? I want to have it so the DRL's are off, but the angel eyes are always on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Change the relay out for a US one. It the tall blue one behind the cluster.

Where could I go about finding one of these relays doogee? Just someone parting or do you or anyone know a site that might have them?

Here is a part number for the US relay: 61 35 8 370 510

The relay is not behind the cluster, it's at the bottom part of the dash, left of the steering column.

btw, you can sell the Canadian relay to Americans, sold mine for exactly what I paid dealer for the US relay. It was 8 years ago though

While Sickfinga says it's somewhere else, you can get to it from behind the cluster anyway.

You must be a contortionist then

Maybe different build dates had it in different locations. My car, like I said, had in the bottom part of the dash.
