The only probem with no brake booster is you have to REEF on the pedal to get it to stop. I would look into a hydroboost setup.

But there will be a brake booster..it's just remote mounted. The pedal feel should be stock.

No updates in the drivetrain department. Still waiting on my wiring harness unfortunately.

New stainless fuel lines are installed, and so is the new brake master. Pics to come.

So I got my steering wheel hub today and just couldn't wait to mount it...

I'm working on sourcing some carpet, and ordered new center vents for it...don't mind the mess, it's storage at the moment.

Started installing my stainless hardlines...yet to be clamped to the body.

And got the braking system started....New master mounted. (Not manual brakes...explanation on previous page)

I've been working on the trunk side of the fuel system, and will update with pics once all the hoses are run.

So I got some more interior peices...new a/c vents, and a bmw horn button

And my fuel lines from the cell to the bulkhead are all done....the rest of the fuel system will be completed as soon as my walboro 255 shows up. I also got word today that my wiring harness will be completed this week, so once i get that back, the motor goes in and should be ready to turn over!

Ok so I've got a little bit of an update..went to a free parts day and grabbed some stuff.

Got pop-out windows for the rears

A deck lid spoiler (not sure if i'm mounting it or not...)

And got a new set of kidney grills

Also ordered some euro smiley projector headlights to clean up the front end a bit.
Also here's a picture of the newest addition to our shop, it should help out a lot along the way!

so....couldn't keep waiting around for wiring before i made some more progress so here it is...

Engine is in to check clearances and take measurements for a driveshaft and intercooler piping/exhaust!

also installed the clutch/ flywheel and transmisson

shifter location is close

oil pan clearance

little bit of room for a rad

ride height with weight of engine/ tranny

And on a less exciting note, I decided to mount the decklid spoiler and the rear window carpet section

So I bled my clutch tonight and basically if it stays the way it is now, my leg will look like the hulk at the end of the day...It's very VERY heavy as it is right now. Is there a smaller clutch master that I can use?

I guess I'll upload some pics. of my diff build.

the pumpkin

carrier/pinion out

new races in

Pinion installed

an the new carrier with the graded bolts and washers, and the ring gear and speed ring installed

I then pressed on the bearings, took some measurements and had some custom shims made up as the e30 diff shims are no longer available. And the rear end is all together again.
