Don't have theft insurance? I hear of insurance without collision.... but no theft?
Aside from that I know the feeling man, I bought and totally fixed/tuned a Trek 4300 bike last summer. Rode it once, locked it outside the Blockbuster and 30 minutes later it was gone.

Sorry to hear!!!!!!
But most likely you are right, the vehicle such as your will be stolen on order or parts. So if professionally stolen, it will end up in the chap chop or in the sea container. That means chance of recovery is very low. But there could be exception to the rule. My next door neighbor has his 2009 Camry stolen. Police did recover it, 4 month later inside sea container in Montreal headed to South America. So there is always hope. there is a company leasing used car called KCC Leasing try them.
Good luck!

Sorry to hear it man. you should have put comprehensive on the car for only a few dollars more a month. well worth it for a car that's 10 years or less. At least you would have gotten money from ins for the loss.
likelihood of finding it? slim to none...they may re-vin it or chop shop it.
it goes on the record for theft but they get tons to reports; goes into master system but that's about it.
if it was a joy ride thing then a good possibility they will find it. But if it was professional.......sorry.....

Wait for couple of weeks before you buy a new car, they might find your car.

Shit, that was my old man's ride that I sold to your friend about a year ago. Sorry to hear man, hopefully they find it especially as you have no theft coverage...

01 330ci should have immobilizer and such features? It would take a decent amount of time to steal it out of a driveway, that's a pretty high risk move that would take a while to bypass the immobilizer and then actually hotwire for start. How many keys are you in possession of? Start looking at the possibility that it was started with a key. Other than that it must have been the real deal when they can actually replicate the chip in the key with a device and hot wire it. Anyone with that kind of equipment is not stealing 2001 vehicles.

Hi noodles. I live in waterloo too. Which part do you live at? .
I just bought a 323ci 2000 and I don't have theft insurance yet cause it's still parked and plateless. I work as a pizza delivery man part time so I'll definitely watch out for your car.

Sorry to hear about the theft man.
Curious though, what is it with no theft, is it simply lack of funds? That's crazy stuff man.
If you cannot afford theft I am sorry to say, you can't afford a car.
