No, it definitely needs a custom brace if you pair the 260 on an M50. The angle is way too different for the trans mount tabs to handle with just a washer.

If you bend the stock brace on one side and use a spacer on the other side ( we're talking ~2") it works out fine. I'll try to find some pics when I get to a laptop next.

i was considering going with a g260, but as previously stated, not sure if i want to deal with building a custom crossmember

Do it right, find a ZF. Should be possible for well under 500, look around thoroughly, esp parts cars. People with a trans laying around are more likely to charge more.

Been working on patching/ welding all week. Plan is to finish body work and run brake lines this weekend. Will have pics up by the end of the weekend.

haha yea i was thinking about it but the car isnt going to see winter again and is only gonna be taken out a couple dozen times a year so i dont think ill worry about it.

POR 15 has saved my e30.......2 seasons and not even a hint of a bleed. best product ever.
