This inspired me to find more Kromer Kraft-clad E36s. This is how an E36 with an aftermarket exhaust should sound:
That's probably one of the most annoying cars I've ever heard, right up there with the racing RX8s - like having a damn mosquito stuck in your ear. I hope it's just my earbuds.
hyped up... or pissed that you won't be able to pull on a civic on the straights lol
check out that series(ctcc)...people here talk smack civics but i just laugh cause it usually means they have no experience with them or else they wouldnt smack talk them.
they are great track cars(even fwd) and plenty of people race them.

I think the TMP track record is held by an Integra with like a 1:11 or something silly like that (faster than bikes, BMWs and Porsches).

And you're on crack if you think that sounds anything like a Supra. The only reason the Supra has a high pitched quality to the sound (not the same irritating shrill as that video) IS the turbo.
That E36 sounds almost as bad as the most annoying car in the world

When did I say that it's not a great track car? They are fairly cheap and reliable, and there is a large after market community for them which is why plenty of people race them. They are great cars, the old egs and ek9's are a blast to throw around on the track, especially when you swap a more potent motor into them! My point is that when you look at how the two cars in stock trim perform on the track, in general, the only civic that will beat out an E36 M3 is one of the newer JDM Type-R models. You might think that when they are both track prepped the outcome would be the same, however that is not always the case because there are lots of $$$ at play, some guys have upwards of $80k into their civic touring cars. No disrespect here

keep in mind there are a lot of rules in racing just to keep the cars even.
Dude that sucks!!!! Looks like you faired better with the CF hood though, I had a mechanic forget to put the pins in on my old metal hood, picked up the car with a broken windsheild and hood with speed wrinkles, he was good and covered the repairs though, after seeing this I feel safer with the CF hood incase latches fail!
Wow ya that could have been a lot worse. Last summer on a thursday night right before a 3-day lapping weekend I went to adjust my brake bias and forgot to close the hood pins. I shattered the windshield and bent my hood. LUCKILY Speedy glass saved my ass and was able to have a new windshield installed by the next morning and I only missed 2 lapping sessions. I paid big $$$ for it though!
Oh yeah, your car looks amazing!
