By the way, Bimmer P.I. I'm sorry to look noob for a guy who study mechanics (in french) but what is a rocker? I know valves rockers but they rarely rust...

rocker panels. the bottom skirt like section that goes along below the doors, fender bottoms like to rot as well, also check below where the battery sits. if you have a leaky battery they tend to rot that area of the car as well.
