New to the site

Hey guys whats up! Great site. nice rides! Got my first bimmer few months ago (96TI) Got some plans for it, some of which are in a pile in my room (Trying to do it all at once for the serious before and after effect...hahaha) Ever get any TIs at the events/meets?

Hey, welcome to the site, and congrats on the car. There are some members here with ti's. Sounds like you got some major plans happening. Post some picks of your car. We would love to see it.

Welcome to the board, we havent seen any ti's at the meets just yet, but I'm sure some more will come out of hiding once the weather warms up.

Hey

WELCOME!

I got a TI right here

I haven't been to any of the meets yet because every time you guys make one, I am out of town.

Even this week on 29th, I can't make it.

Hahahahah....sorry didnt mean to get everyone at the edge of their seats (its only a 1.9L hahahah) But basically just getting ready for the basics:
Upgrading suspension (Apex Sport possibly)
Brospeed Cat-system
Cold Air Intake
17" wheels (change my mind everyday on type)

I have all the big stuff left to buy while cosmetics are just piling up....Picked up a Zender lip spoiler the other day, got the clears (front only) Kamei eyelids, pedals, shifter etc etc... Dont wanna put any of that on until I start with some of the bigger things. I hope this isnt all wishful thinking!!!
By the way...has anyone put on eyelids over north american headlights??? If so, what did you use to rimove the top "nipple" on the light??? Im thinking of just sanding/grinding it flat. How about lighting upgrades while still using north american lights??? Anyone do that? Your advice/input is appreciated...thanks.

i used a little pencil grinder i have at work to take those nipples off. but sand paper should be find just it'll take a bit and don't scratch the headlights.

and lightning upgrades on US headlights basically just changing the bulbs. you can buy those xenon gas filled which are a bit blue at night 25-35 $Cdn a pair. but i wouldn't know anything else.
