Actually I own them now... sorry, but I'd be interested in knowing whats the difference between the two bumpers? they just look like a regular set of post 88 plastic bumpers with the metal valence... My problem is, I have an '87 IS and was planning on doing the plastic bumper swap, then when I looked closely, the IS lip actually looks like it would stick out further then the edge of the bumper... So I think I'm waiting until I can afford a decent looking body kit, then I could sell my IS lip.

The rear bumper will not fit on an 87 without cutting it and shortening it. The front will bolt up with a late model valance, however you can't use an early "is" valance.
