I've tried a few different SSK, and the UUC kit is God's gift if you ask me. All the others are made of poo. Seriously though, once it's been used for about a year, the UUC SSK is smooth as glass with no binding, and just feels right. No offence to you Rich, but the UUC SSK is win, win. For the price of Rich's shift kit, I don't think you can go wrong, but every time I go from a $140 shift kit (BMP Design E34 525i SSK in my E30) and junmp into my vert with the UUC, I $#!+ my pants. Then I remeber how much it cost me, but I still love it.

LOL, I have been waiting for you to post this ever since your EXTREAMLY RUDE private message, where you demanded I deleiver it to you house and give it to you for a price you dictated. I explained to you in previous posts, there are 2 shifters out there that are very simialr, one is of greater quality, made by 2 companies. The ones I get are not in that packaging, so I think the one your getting is the cheaper quality one the supplier I order from offered BTW, I get one that I pay more then what you got it shipped for, it does look like the one you got, but comes in different packaging. Also I instect, make sure all parts are there, tested the ones I get out in my and another vehicle for months, to make sure its a good product, and get it next day to someone who does want one, and people who pick them up get to try the part out to make sure they like it.
I told you in your private message your free to order what ever you want, and don't know why your saying its the same when the little mark up I make even if it was was peice of mind your getting what you want and someone is making sure the product is in good condition and you not taking a chance ordering something sight unseen.
As I said in private message, your free to order what ever you like, good luck with your choice.

^ a markup?
what the hell is that garbage. how dare you order parts pay for them stock them test them and spend your time organizing it all and then charge a small mark up for them.
thats not how business works. you buy something, then you sell if for less than paid, as per the demands of the buyer, hand delivered (installed too). and thank them for allowing you such a privlege!

The $24 shifter is exactly the same.
But I'm going to go ahead and say I'm not bashing you Richie.
Talent got his shipped to his door for $50. But if you're like me, you'll pay the extra money to get something locally.

Dude I'm not getting into it with you and have been perfectly honest and respectful of you from your inital questions both in threads and through private messages.
The owner/management of maxbimmer has asked I do not talk about anything I am or going to be selling before my paid sponsorship/sale threads are set up for the begging of next month.
Someone notified and complained I was doing mass sales, wonder who that was.
My reputation goes far beyond just selling things to being helpful, putting my ass on the line, running a legit tax paying buisseness that supports events for everyone to enjoy.
Someone just last week brought their car to a mechanic to have something installed, and I spent half an hour explaining how to install something so it was done right. Try getting customer service like that of blind buying online.
Looking forward to showing the new products I am starting to stock and sell, and looking forward to supporting this site and many other events this summer!

I recently bought a SSK from Rich and he's a very nice guy. I got a chance to test out the SSK in his car when I went to pick it up from him and he even personally handled a situation that I had at the garage when installing the SSK.
The throw is certainly shorter and feels quite notchy (stock shift knob). It's hard to describe to others how the throw is. If you've driven other cars with after market short shifters then it should be very similar to that.
I would not hesitate to purchase from Rich again.
