BMW Scanner Car Diagnostic Tool (Version 1.4.0)

So it looks like those guys at dealextreme.com
Finally have something worth us looking at!

Good for older generation cars, no good for the new stuff.
The new cars you'll probably need BT tool.

BMW Scanner Car Diagnostic Tool (Version 1.4.0)

Would be good use for you maxbimmer guys.
I drive an E90 so I'm looking for the version 2.1.0.... But the Bavarian Technic is probably the best choice.

you dont need a "bmw" scanner though $48 is cheap..but you still need a laptop.

other scanners you can buy at ct and princess auto dont require a laptop.

You can a lot more than just scan code with BMW Scanner.

Anyone know if you can enable the BC button on an E46 with BMW Scanner?
This is the main thing that I would want to do but I can think of a lot more to enable/disable too.

+1 the bmw scanner can clear codes too!
Thats why I said it's good use for those E46 peoples who want to clear the engine and airbag codes.

if it can clear airbag code then that is definitely useful over a standard obd code reader.

I ordered this and then cancelled the order 6 weeks later because it hadn't been filled.

Gotta find another source for this....
