Well the clutch is 'adequate' (albeit a bit undersized) for the power but that S62 is a beast and the clutch can't tolerate very much abuse. Precision is really important, all it takes is getting on the gas too soon when shifting at high rpm a few times to toast up that clutch and flywheel, and that can be easy to do when you're on the hammer and power shifting. A toasted clutch is a nice invitation to upgrade to a lightweight flywheel and larger clutch though.

My car is on a stock clutch at 186K. Only NOW, after a full track day and some hard driving on cruises, does it slip when power shifting from 2-3rd gears.

They are not bad clutches, but you can't ask for super smooth dailiy driveability feel AND super tough dependability. There has to be some sort of a compromise.
