Is this deal still going on?

If so does the 335i E92 use 5W30 all year round? And does the engine hold 6 or 7 liters of oil, this will be my first time doing by myself.

it should use about 6.5 liters of oil and because its sythetic you can use it all year round

Hi Mike, thanks for the help with the purchase last time.

This might not be the right place to post this but does the additional piping for the oil cooler by the wheel well result in the need for more oil?

I put 7 quarts in and the oil is still not at the top based upon the measurement via iDrive.

I have a 2007 335xi and I only put in 6.5 litres (I bought 7 and can use the extra 1/2 l next time). I'm surprised you put in 7l - what model/year do you have ?

For clarity it was 7 quarts not 7 litres. Bottles I bought from Maranello are each a U.S. quart. 7 bottles are appox. 6.6 litres.

my mistake, yes, i bot the same bottles from Mike so it is quarts but the fact remains I only put in 6.5 bottles/quarts.
