Light bulb housing got Owned!

I was replacing a bulb that burned out (had another thread about this)...

turns out i had 100 watt bulbs in there instead of 55 watt..

however nothing has happened for the 5 years they were in there..

I bought the nighthawk extra bright ones now, the 55watts, and just replaced the 100 watt one that burned out.. and i was going to do the other side when i had time.. (today)...

Don't make fun of me but i didn't know having two different bulbs would cause a problem...
you can see the top of the housing has burned, and i can't get the new light to sit in properly

difference between left (new light put in 1 week ago) and right, new light put in now, with the burn

quesiton is what can i do? is there a part that i can get for the inside, that housing?

Can't i just get that silve piece inside? like the cone...

Whole headlight assembly? thats so expensive..
or did you not understand me properly? the new headlight is already in (not in the 1st picture) but its 100% new and working fine... the bulb housing just does not fit properly in the silver piece
because its burned and I'm guessing light is also distorted in there because of that.

I'm not too sure myself if they sell just that dome part of the headlight individually. You might have to check the parts guys for a used one, or it might be worth it for you to get yourself a used pair of headlights, and maybe a good chance to upgrade to xenons.

Hmm, looks like you're right. Call up Mike at Maranello to see if he can hook you up.
