Used bmw parts is a good place to go to, just make sure you test the part, and verify its the correct part immediatly. Chucks = last resort. Although i've never bought anything off bruce (temp) yet, everyone raves about how great his parts/prices are, so give him a shout.

Yea I PMed him.

www.bavauto.com has some really great prices! Almost half the price I was quoted for a heater valve. How much does shipping + border taxes usually add in % of the online price?

It can add up to a lot. For instance, i ordered a Bavauto diffuser for my non M e36 rear bumpre. 129.99 + 27 EMS shipping = 156.99 = like 173 canadian, + duties (64$) = like 235, almost twice of what the price seems

for certain oem parts, call places like QMR, or RMP, as they get better than dealer pricing.

Also, tell the bmw dealership you're in BMWCCA. 10% off, and they dont ask for id if you are/aren't. (i suggest you join bmwcca though, their magazine alone is worth it)

Oh cool, I wasn't aware that RMP sold parts. I tried precision tuning so far.

shantaram used bmw parts. At least thats what they used to be called. I've bought a couple of things from there but never had a pleasant experiance there. The old guy is pretty grumpy and zero patience. Deal with the younger guy.
