Now, back to kurts build lol.

Haha, won't be any updates for a little while. Time for mad cage money saving. But I guess the next update will be the seat going in and all the cage progress, then paint.

Your car is way off balance, unless the driver weighs at Least 120lbs it's just not right. 2 ways to deal with this
1 eat every meal at a buffet
2 start lifting weights

I got really lucky finding one on eBay US. It's a Kamei knob. They tend to pop up time to time on ebay.de but not sure how the Germans are about shipping to Canada.
It was definitely a rare find.
BMW Motorsport apparently carries them but no dealers around here can seem to get one even with the part number.

^ Almost all the BMW Motorsport cars since the late E36 had them.

What's the part number of that knob? I couldn't find it on the BMW Motorsport list.

The build looks great man! How much weight did you end up shaving off?

Won't know until I weigh the car. But when it's finished I'm guessing it'll be around 2600 lbs. So that would be about 500lbs off.

E36 m3's weighed in a little heavier than that. They were typically around 3250ish lbs. If you come in at 2600 with a cage, that would be awesome!
