Rudy, I just double checked and it didn't fit. I believe the steering column belly plastic is different or the position of the steering column.

note the cut out on the pic. right one is the IX one.

So....I am willing to trade a non-IX panel for the IX one I have. As you can see it is in pretty nice shape.
I didnt want to cut it with a dremel as I think it would look like a hack job and possible fray the cardboard backing.

Ohhhhh I see... Interesting! Lucky I don't have that panel on my car, would get in the way of my dropped steering column

LOL... I remember the shape on the side being a bit off. What was bad with it?

brakes:

I just rebuilt my two front calipers and installed brand new brakes all around. My IS brakes are really nice and responsive but the vert is kinda slow. what could be wrong? I bled them, and they are better..but still not the same..could there still be air in the line?

Yeah man. It's a super big help if you aren't a tall driver! Hardest part is chiseling those fancy bolts off with the blank heads. If you look at pics of some of the factory M3 racecars from the DTM era, you can notice that the shorter drivers (eg. Winkelhock) had the steering columns dropped at least a few cms!

What pads are in the cabby?

What pads are in the cabby?
OEM pads and rotors in rear; Brembo's in front and Graphite metallics.
I have the exact same set up on the IS with the exception the brembo's are cross drill.

I dunno, the vert drives like a garden tractor in comparison to my IS.
I am gonna change the diff out to my 4:10 lsd. and find a slightly stiffer suspension without compromising my kidneys.

Hmm... Not sure what to say. If I have air in the brake system of my car it pulls to one side or something, but it doesn't seem to stop the 'punch' of them when stopping... then again, I'm not one of those drivers that feel... I just adapt around whatever situation the car has. Also, generally speaking, cross drilled brakes 'bite' harder initially than blanks. Another thought to consider is tires. Ultimately, tires are what stops the car.

good news is i got most of the dirt off. there's a few spots that need to be attacked with a old toothbrush or something, as they're inbetween the cracks/etching that the cover is made out of (look closely at the material, its not smooth but rippled). i did the best i could with a wet cloth.

bad news, camera doesnt want to cooperate. pictures are turning out all white. i can try to borrow a camera if you're still interested.
