Thanks for the leads....have sent emails to several of the above mentioned and await replies...... was hoping to hear from a member who has already done it (recently) to use as a benchmark as I have a feeling this is not gonna be cheap!

Fair enough, but what someone else paid may not mean you can get it done for that price. For example if they've been going to a shop for a while, they may get a slightly better price or if they do things together the price may be discounted because of that.

I usually like to get my own quotes as they are the only ones that matter, not what tom/dick/harry/joe blow paid last year in Tim bucktoo.

I ordered the clutch myself and brought it to a Euro shop in windsor
They did a great job and whole thing cost around 550 or so (parts and labour)

I'd say your gunna be around $1000 by the time its all said and done, depending on how bad the flywheel is(if it is warped from running a poooched clutch disc for sometime than it may need to be re-surfaced or replaced), plus don forget to replace the throw out bearing and rear main seal since you are already there......

I had my 328 done at the dealership and it was around $1000
for the m3 I ordered the full clutch kit off ebay for reletively cheap and brought it to a small euro shop who did an excellent job. As I stated in my previoyus post I paid about 600 for parts and labour....work was done a year ago and it still feels amazing
