I'm NOT dating your daughter.
I couldn't decide whether this should be in the Off Topic or in a Regional thing, but WHATEVER. You don't know anything anyways.
I'm sortof new to Ottawa, and I'm wondering what fun stuff there is to do here in Ottawa with my girl. I don't really like movies, unless it's something off the beaten track. I like theater and bowling and have done about as much walking around sightseeing as one can handle.
I found GO Skydiving in Quebec, but that's almost over for the season. I know we're all going Top Karting, is there anything else that is fun?
Can anyone give some fun lunch/dinner spots? What do you all do on your days off to have fun?

Wellington Gastro Pub. Average price per person is almost 50$ (appetizer and dinner) then extra for dessert. But when me and my gf go with her aunt out, it cost us about 180ish$ for a bottle of wine and beers ect.
Winterlude is cool. Went last year and they had beavertails there and also crazy french men (dressed up as weirdos) and dj's ect.
Question period at Parliament. It's always funny to watch old men yell at each other. I went like 20ish times last year.
Bars/clubs. Many around.
Yuk Yuk's on bank street.
Check out the UOttawa crap that's going on. Last year I went to a David Sazuki speech about our planet. Also got him to sign my book. Tonight I'm going to a Spoken Word thing with my gf. 90U is the address if your down tonight, 25$ at the door.
Many many things to do man, just have to do a little searching!

Is there a list of Carleton/UOttawa events and speakers? I went to a youth symphonie last night at Carleton. Very fun!

Just search the UOttawa website they got. Tons of info on there about events like the football games and ice hockey. Forgot to mention Sen tickets. I'm going with my parents to see the leafs vs sens nov 27th. could always take her to a hockey game.

Bella's restaurant is 100% worth going to. Complete formal wear is perferred, dinner is very reasonable (like, same as any big box restaurant like Kelsies which is garbage) and is amazing food.
I'm going to try out rock climbing in the next week or two. Museum of Civilization has iMax 3D that i want to check out too.
Lots of great ideas in this thread, keep them coming. And if any of you young fellers sees a volleyball tournament coming to Ottawa U or Gonk, let me know.
