Some pics of the new car
Yesterday, I took a drive through the Beechwood Cemetary and stopped for some pretty fall pics of the new car, now that it's all safetied and 'legal' like.
Next up is a new tint job (black privacy glass) and definitely some nicer rims come springtime!
Please feel free to share your thoughts!

Looks good. Zarbat's old car? Good call on rims. That's all his needed to be perfect.

Thanks - it's actually not Zarbat's - I wasn't sure cuz I only know the real name of the guy I bought it from, and had to do some digging into 'bat's old posts until I found a pic of his. VERY similar, indeed! Mine has a blue tint job, doesn't have the Angel Eyes HID's like his, and I don't have the front headlight 'squirters' - but I had to look over his pics to be sure.
Sure hope that the guy who bought his doesn't rob a bank with it! It'd be a real easy case of mistaken identity
If it was him, then I was going to tell him just how wrong he was about his car - from the amount of rust, to all else that was wrong with it that he 'said' was so good.
Caviat Emptor, baby!
At least I've fixed most things with it, and am really enjoying driving it.

lol.
Mine also had side skirts and different wheels. The only exterior defects I saw on that car was 2 bubbles size of a nickel on left 1/4 panel, and touch up paint on passenger's door. They were there when I bought the car, and they never worsened in almost 2 years I had the car because it had a good coat of wax on it all the time.
Here are more pictures of the car.
Beemer p.i., glad to hear you are enjoying the car. Did you fine out about the rust after you bought the car?

Zarbat: Gee, never noticed you had E46 rims on that car.
You know I'm gonna keep bugging you about that car every time I see a silver E36 sedan...

thank you for the comment - as for the set-up, I'm afraid that I have no clue! I know that it is rediculously low, especially with the bumper on it, and has a nice stance to the car.
Kijiji is where I found it - the prev. owner was let's just say 'mistaken' about a lot of details about the car. If given the chance to do over, I would have given it a pass. But as I am stuck with it for now, I shall enjoy it - and have been. It's a blast to drive!

heater motor VERY noisy after replacing the sending unit (needs replacing), rust holes under the rockers, wiring is pooched for one of the fog lights, a weird 'rattle' in the steering column/wheel (like there's a loose ballbearing in it?) tint is all scratched up and has bubbles, fuel filter feels really clogged, plugs all need replacing -- stuff like that. Normal wear n' tear for a used car, but the guy made it out like it was brand-spankin' new with no issues and it's gunna cost to get it all done.
I'll do some myself, have had Frisby and Autovation do a few things already, and want the rest all done and ready for fun come springtime when I'll either keep it or see what I can sell it for.
