Not for a Bimmer - but need opinion on these tires

Looking for tire options for my Acura. Looking for opinions.

Bridgestone - Potenza RE760 Sport with Uni-T $850 all in
Goodyear Eagle GT $837 All in
Dunlop Direzza DZ101 $733 All in
Dunlop SP Sport Signature $767 All in

Hi. Prices look about right.

The Goodyear Eagle GT aren't that good. They look good, but perform poorly.

The Dunlop Direzza DZ101 are cheap summer tires, so for summer it's okay... I wouldn't put them on now though. Same with the bridgestone, except they are expensive summer tires...

The Sport Signature is the only all season from your list that's got decent performance and priced really well. But for some reason, Dunlops never really balance very well. Don't forget there is a mail in rebate for $60 going on right now.

Yea, heard that about the Eagle's.

I have winters, so I wouldn't be running the Dunlops in the winter. I don't like the idea that they don't balance well - that would piss me off...

Only reason I'm changing now, is that I figure I could get a better deal on summer now.

People often think that, but it's actually the opposite.

buying in the winter time means:
1. you get old stock (leftovers)
2. selection isn't as great (everyone is stocking up on winters)
3. rebates for summer tires often occur during the spring time.
4. if there are any problems with the tire, you won't know right away. (in the spring/summer you can bring it back and the company will rectify the problem immediately.)

so if you can wait, I would wait till spring.

I put on a set of the 760's this spring...I like them alot. Grip and response is very good but I heard afterwards that the treadwear isn't that great...we'll see.
Try checking out Rim and Tire Pro for pricing...they are the best I've been able to find.
