I blocked off the ports for my TB heater. Car won't see winter.

Edit: Just realized you said you weren't putting the covers on lol
Oh yeah, so you just routed your rad hoses and heater core hoses and that's it? What did you do with your big crazy mess of coolant hoses? Custom job?

Yeah, only rad and heater hoses. I used oem e36 rad hoses and oem e30 heater core hoses.

What mess of other hoses are you talking about? There are only 3 other hoses and 2 go to the throttle body, 1 from the resevoir.

To delete t.b. heater, unscrew the the fitting from the head and put a bolt in there (t.b. inlet), and for the t.b. outlet hose (goes to the metal spider pipe) i used a cap to block it off.

BTW, my swap is an M52 OBD II, so some things might be different from yours.

^ahh m52.

The mess I'm taking about it that weird 4-way coolant hose that connects the tb to the block to the heater core to the rad.

But here goes. I hear people talking about making adapters for the wiring from M50 to E30 with the round connector such as this.

My 1984 318I does not have this connector. I've taken apart the dash, looked in the engine bay, under the car, in the dash, EVERYWHERE. It is not there.

The only connect that I could see would be a square connector with roughly 6-8 pins in it.

Is this normal because it's so old?

Does anyone have the wiring schematic that I need for this?

I'm REALLY close to getting this swap done, about the only thing stopping me is the wiring and a fuel cell/pump.
Email this dude, he makes the adapter harnesses.

Canadian tire can order them through ekeystone.com

I'm about 5 hours north so I have no idea where to get them in toronto.
