um...what are these wires :confused:

these things are dangling inside the glove box.

wonder if they have anything to do with my tach not working

That's in your glovebox? Looks like the two with the white plastic covers are for the glovebox light, the others I can't see very well... charger for the flashlight?

yeah, the two white ones are for the light, for sure. Can't see the other one too well. If you need a glove box light I can bring one to Auto-x if you'll be there.

How many sockets on the black plug have a metal connector in them, Rob?

Do the SI batteries affect the tach? I forget... e30 knowledge is slowly being pushed out of brain...
