5 Series 2001 Original M package 540iA Silver and Clean

Hi there,

I am downgrading to a V6 as I commute long distance daily so my 2001 540i M package is for sale. Here are some of the goodies:

- Smooth running V8. No leaks or oil burning. Clean engine and smooth shifting transmission
- Black leather interior with Titanium silver exterior
- All season tires with great thread

Car has high mileage 296K. A lot of maintenance done to this vehicle so drivetrain and body are mint. You are free to take it to any mechanic or bring one along and get it inspected.

Here are some of the details of work done since I have owned it:

285K - Starter and Alternator Done

1st April 2010
286K - CEL ON - Car turning off randomly
286K - Codes read and reset - P1158 & P1160 - No CEL till 8th April 2010

5th April 2010
286K - Oil Change Done @ Budds BMW
286K - Diagnostics Done and Rev Settings Done - $0 - No longer turns off
286K - Oxygen Sensors tested - Good
286K - MAF Tested - Bad

10th April 2010
287K - Lower Timing Chain Tensioner Changed - Original Seized Causing Engine Noise
287K - Tranny Fluid checked and topped up.
287K - Checked CEL - MAF Sensor required
287K - Checked Spark Plugs - OK Condition

16th April 2010
288K - New MAF installed @ RMP Motors - Code Reset
288K - Full Tank gas + (Techron)

20th May 2010
290K - New Spark Plugs (8 X NGK's)
290K - New Valve Cover Gaskets
290K - Fluid Checks - Topped up

I am asking 7900$ or best offer. Need it gone quick as I live in a Condo and have limited parking.

The 2 bad things with the car:
- Small crack underneath the front bumper (can't see it untill you bend down and look)
- Typical BMW burned out pixels on odometer.
