Chip: 300 to 382 bhp?
Hi All,
I heard or read somewhere (can't remenber where unfortunately) that you can buy a chip to get more hp on a 335. Could someone please tell me if they know anything about this? I would not mind using 380 hp if I could get it.

It's not a physical chip that you get but a software download via the OBD-2 port.
PM me if you are interested as I can supply that. Or send me an email, that is even better.

any turbo car will gain lots from a chip. The difference on 335's is VERY noticeable.

Procede V4 has autotune, so it tunes the piggyback according to what kinda mods your car has. The more mods your car has the better/more boost the chip will give you.
After intake, downpipes, exhaust and procede v4 on octane 94 your looking close to 400hp. It's a piggyback so it is not detectable by the dealership.

If the above piggybacks are the best route, I wonder why a 335iS that came in 3rd in Targa Newfoundland GT class paid me a visit before it went out there.

Any truth to the rumors I heard about BMW not honoring warranty repairs for flashed cars, even when reverted (logging peak boost)?

I don't know about that, but I have similar boost levels to what Dinan uses. And if someone uses a piggyback, those values would still be logged in the ECU.

Only the new 2011 335iS can detect piggybacks. Any car from 2007-2010 cannot. And the codes can be cleared with Bavarian Technic tool anyways. There has not been a single case of a piggybacked 335i having its warranty voided.
I'm not going to aruge with you who makes the best tune or what is the best route. I am just throwing ideas out there for a fellow member.
Anyways.. here are some of the features that the Procede V4 offers.

Here is also a stack up side by side comparison chart.

BMW can update the software in olders cars anytime they come into the dealership, and they could add that anti-tamper detection to detect piggybacks then.

OK, but unless I don't understand English, it appeared that you said that the piggybacks are the best way to go.
