E36 2 door window problem

Just wondering if anyone knows whats going on here, my drivers window on my 1992 coupe E36 is acting up. The window button only moves the window up or down at 1/2 inch at a time an i have to repress the button numerous times to open or close the window... almost the same as when you open or close the door. i tried replacing the switch with no success. anyone know what this could be???

there is a micro switch for toll option that's probably what the problem is first try to reprogram the window but holding the window button all the way up till reaches the top and keep holding to 15 seconds and do the same when u go down. sounds like u won yourself a real gem

are you talking with the one-touch function or even when holding the button down?

I hate to say it but if you've already replaced the switch, everything else is contained within that door whatever is causing your problem. Sounds like it lost track of where the window is. Regulator I believe its called ? The worst part is taking off the door card and putting it back on, shit always breaks including clips....
