Where did this little rubber thingy come from?

Okay, I found this on the floor when I was putting in new rear seat belts last night. Anyone know where this came from?

I'm going to take a stab at this, but it is by no means certain-is it the cover for the bolt that holds the anchor for the seatbelt to the floor? Mine looks more round, and it's plastic, not rubber, but it does look similar...just figured I try to help, good luck!

looks like the blind plug that goes in the head, under the valve cover

I'm not too sure where it's numbered, but you can see it here:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...10&hg=11&fg=15

It's on the near end of the head, above the camshaft seal... 2 of them actually.

It turns out its part of the rubber seal for the wiring loom where it enters the cabin from the trunk at the driver’s side back rest, just below the parcel shelf.

Yep, but how often have you bought parts for your E30 in a different car? Could easily fall out of a box.
