Does TMC work with iDrive in GTA?

Hey Folks,

I was wondering if the iDrive (2nd Gen) can get TMC (Traffic Message Channel) in GTA? I've read that TMC is available via RDS, but I haven't managed to receive any traffic updates, neither via RDS, nor NAV

Thx

After doing some additional research I believe that this service is only offered to those residing in the US, because in US, BMW partnered w/Clear Channel's Total Traffic Network, while in Canada there is no partnership...which is a shame because TMC service exists in GTA...I guess we'll have to use our GPS portable units (eg. TomTom, Gamin) to get TMC
