Detailing for a classic car?

Anyone know of a good place in town to do some detailing on a classic (1970) car with the original paint?

It's been stored inside for its whole life and still has the original paint in decent shape but it needs a good detailing and wax to bring out the shine and keep it protected... I'd do it myself but I don't have the patience for detailing and I'd be worried about ruining the old paint.

Anyone know of a place with experience with this sort of thing?

Thanks,
-Paul

It's a 1970 Rover 3500S. My grandfather bought it new in 1970 and it lived in a garage in Calgary most of its life. 48,000 original miles.

3.5L aluminum V8 (originally a Buick design, Rover bought it and it has been in Rovers, Land Rovers, TVRs, TR8s, etc etc for many years).

We've spent the last 2-3 months getting it ready for the road again (it hadn't run in 20+ years) and it finally went in for the safety inspection on Monday (and passed, first try!)

See pics.

Look how clean that interior is... amazing. That's cool that it's LHD, never knew rover made them.

I think I saw this car on Top Gear actually.. way back early in the series talking about the american V8 that all the brits call their own.

That really is a lovely, beautiful car.

Thanks for all the compliments guys - it is a pretty special car. Apparently Rover only made about 2000 of the V8 3500S models for the North American market. They sold more in the UK and Europe, but the NA model had some extra features that were extremely rare overseas, like the triple hood scoops (all functional) and power windows.

Maybe once we've got it all licensed and whatnot I'll bring it out to M&M sometime

looking over the pics again, cars fresh off the line don't have clean interiors like that!

Please advertise when you have it ready for M&M's, i'll make sure to be there to gawk
