best all around tires

325is e36 2 door
staggered setup. (17x8 front, 17x9 back)

looking for summer tires that are capable of great grip above 7 deg celcius (i have winter tires) as well as grip in rain. This is my DD car and put around 800km/wk. other than being a DD, i also use it to autoX (1 or 2 times a summer, cruises). Not looking for UHP, but something that offers a balance in tread wear, quietness, money value. thanks.

Michelin Pilot Exalto is everything you want. Yes the initial price is high, but they will last twice as long as other UHP tires and perform better than almost all.
