Nah, lay off him. My M3 has a muffler delete, it's quieter than most aftermarket catbacks at part throttle.
Plus, where we're going there isn't anyone around to complain.

Yeah it's straight pipe from cat back so it shouldn't be any worse than the cars with aftermarket resonators.
I'd actually like to hear what it sounds like.

It's loud, but not louder then my friend's E30 with a Ractive exhaust. The car actually has more grunt noise then anything with some pretty nice bark near high rpm's. 4-5th gear and just cruising, the car isn't noisy really and my GF can handle it. Not to mention, I pass by cops in Durham and actually had to drive to the courts to pay some tickets and received no issues. This is my first loud car, and I actually like it.

Sounds like fun.
If we get a good number of cars/people interested, maybe we can do a photoshoot at the meet-up spot. I've been dying to take some nice shots with my new SLR. Let me know. 30 bimmers in the background makes for good scenery behind the shots
