I started reading and once I got to this sentence in number 9 I knew he was full of shit, therefore mine as well read it all as fiction. I personally don't do fiction so Ill miss 8 through 1.
"There were 33 murders while I was inside, 12 of them in my block."
He was in for less than 2 years and saw 33 murders in his jail? Not only is he a bad theif he's a bad liar.

* From 2000 through 2007, local jail administrators reported 8,110 inmate deaths in custody. Deaths in jails increased each year, from 905 in 2000 to 1,103 in 2007.
* The mortality rate per 100,000 local jail inmates declined from 152 deaths per 100,000 inmates to 141 per 100,000 between 2000 and 2007, while the jail inmate population increased 31% from 597,226 to 782,592.
* Between 2000 and 2007, the suicide rates were higher in small jails than large jails. In jails holding 50 or fewer inmates, the suicide rate was 169 per 100,000; in the largest jails, the suicide rate was 27 per 100,000 inmates.

So 1,000 deaths a year roughly.
141 deaths per 100,000 pop +/-.
That would mean if 33 people died in 2 years as per his story, that is 16.5 a year which when looking at the averages means his prison held approx. 15,000 prisoners.
The issue I take with that is some of the largest if not largest prisons in the US only have 5,000 inmates.
So at the least he lied by making the death totals at least 3x higher than the norm.
One thing the above numbers do not account for is if we are talking about a local jail, prison or max security but it doesnt really seems to matter from what I see. The TOTAL " jailed " population now exceeds 2 million btw.
Also I found a stat that says roughly 1 person a day for whatever reason dies in the us in prison. ONE, this guy had 1 every 3 weeks in his block alone, does not make mathmatical sense, do you realize how many jails/prisons exist across the us, this guys block won the lottery every 3 weeks lol

you have to take into consideration the minimum security jails.......hardly anyone gets murdered in those.

but, do you think he also knows all the information from every death?? Its likely that he was told someone was murdered, yet maybe someone died of suicide, or other causes.
I dont know, seems like alot of writing to make up a huge lie like that.

Thats the beauty of it, likely 90% of what he writes is true. The other % is exaggerated I would think. Does it say what prison he was in?

He mentioned he was in a Maximum security prison. And he's in Michigan. There's only 3 active Maximum security prisons in Michigan state:
Alger Maximum Correctional Facility
Baraga Maximum Correctional Facility
and Ionia Maximum Correctional Facility
