Champion spark plug

Ok, I must be doing something wrong...

I just installed new spark plugs in my ETA 86. After the installation, I realized that the new plugs have a big terminal that prevent them from connecting in the wires. The old plugs didnt have that.

I recheck the plug number, they are Champion Copper plus RN9YC. That is what they call for in the Champion Website...

Can the terminal be unscrewed?? Am I crazy?

I'm pretty much a noob at mechanic, but damn, that should be pretty basic..

thanks fro you help
