Porsche on 427 Rant

Okay, so I'm on the 427 this weekend and I come across this guy in a base carrera. However, he had gone out and purchased a Turbo sticker and stuck it under the "Carrera 4" sign. My question is WHY? I'd even question if it was a C4. He probably bought that sticker too!!! Do these people actually think that people believe that they are driving a turbo????? I pulled up next to the guy and he was acting all cool, leaning with his shades on. I just had to shake my head at the guy.

Ahhhh I thought your rant was in his driving.. cutting in and out of lanes
with no regards to other's safety.. I would have an issue with that

Most would not "fake" what they do not have ... or would they ...but people do crazy thing

Probably the same kind of guy who'd put an M3 badge on a 318 and think he's fooling people.... IMO I think it ruins the car...

Why do you guys care about people putting stickers on their cars and acting cool? Maybe hes trying to mac some ladies. Stop being haters. Most chicks don't know the sticker is fake.

It probably was a C4, a lot of the 1999-2001 cars were purchased with AWD.

I dont know why he put a turbo badge. Mabye he dropped a turbo 3.6 in?

It's pretty easy to tell... If it had wide fenders (like a turbo) it was a C4.

True say. Ari did the same thing to his wifes mercedes on Entourage, he had it badged it as a higher model so she'd think she got a more expensive car

That being said, most broads probably don't know the difference between a base carrera and a turbo.

Only C4S has the widebody like the turbo. The C2 and C4 are not widebody.

I'm willing to bet that 98% of the general population will believe it! Unless they are car enthousiasts...That % will be much higher if he is trying to impress the girls...People ask me if my 330ci is an M3! and i dont even have any ///M badges, or M parts at ALL!!!
