My GF always takes her Mazda to Rocco and he services it without a problem. I'm sure he can take care of the RX8 too

If you're on the Rx8Club, why are you grasping for any rotorhead mechanic? I went to Can-Jam for years when I had my Rx7 ( http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=84101). Stewart is good. BTW, you don't really need a rotary mechanic ... only if you're going inside the engine

Normally I would agree, but since actually having owned both a BMW (currently) and a rotary Mazda.... Got to say, the way those engines rev and the 8000 redline if memory serves me; they were a BLAST to drive. Loved my RX..... Love the Bimmer more, but that's another discussion....

the 8 goes to 9000rpm, and I was just askin rmp a question cause I heard the guy that worked there was a really good mechanic. Sorry if it was a dumb idea. And to each his own opinion on the piston vs rotor fiasco.

Get off the couch, get outa bed, pick up the phone and make the call!!!!!!!
Give them a call or stop by. I've heard nothing but good things about Rocco and the others who work at rmp so I'm sure you would
be happy with their service.

I heard the same things aswell, hence I was asking if the rotary mechanic worked there. I never doubted rocco's quality in business. I see him win tons of awards at bimmercruise/eurofest every year.
