Yay! The idiot is finally leaving. I say good riddance, and let the door hit you on your way out. Hopefully this new guy is more balanced, don't really know much about him.

Yay!!! He's running for mayor? Its so sad. Popular people, not people with the education and credentials, get elected into office. It's no wonder this country is so poorly run. Does this guy have any experience besides being "top cop"? Has he taken any political science, urban planning, engineering courses? Nope. He's a popular guy due to his stupid rules and position as top cop, and the saddest thing, he'll probably win.
I am losing faith in this country more and more every day.

Quite a run ! Did you know Fantino started out as a security guard at Yorkdale mall in the 1960's ? LoL
Anyone who dislikes Fantino is an uninformed idiot. I dont agree with everything he has done in the past, but he tries his best. He's not perfect, and I'm sure he will admit to some mistakes, but hes been in the spotlight for 3/4 of his life ! of course some people will not agree with is rules (street racers) and people who like to fo 50 kms over....
Fantino somewhat reminds me of Rudy Juliani, former mayor of N.Y. city.
Btw, Julian Fantino > Bill Blair.
