Sigh. I'm in montreal now, the car seems to be a+ in mechanical aspects, dude has tons of records. But... There are rust bubbles on button of rear right and passenger doors which he did not tell me bc apparently he did not notice them. But I'm stil considering it just bc the car seems to be in great mechacical shape. New battery, alternator, rad,waterpump, struts etc etc all records available. Hopefuly I'll make up my mind on the way back home lol.

If you want rust free, go to the states, not Montreal.

I don't mind a bit of rust here and there, under trunk lid which is normal, maybe 1/4 panel or bottom of fender.
Yours is clean and nice. I though the rust was a bit excessive compared to others I've seen.

Mine isn't rust free...I've got rust on the bottom of all my doors...

They got pretty bad over the winter. I'll be getting it all fixed over the summer.

This is the rust on that car. Three doors have rust on buttom.




Here is the deal breaker, the other door, passenger's side has no visible rust outside on buttom, but when you open the door...






I spoke to Otto's collision this evening and I was told there is a really good change that door is rusted through, because water collects there and it rusts from inside.
What this means? Replacing the door and refinish.

Personally I wouldn't care if all 4 door had rust bubbles which can be grinded and painted, but rust through is a whole different story.

Wow. Yeah, mines nowhere near that bad. New/ used door might be cheaper than a repaint but in your case, keep looking.
