Is the diameter smaller then a regular 3 spoke non air bag steering wheel? Even with sport seats my hand barely clears my leg when driving at 3 and 9.

It's 370mm, the smallest of the OE wheels. Not sure the diameter of your wheel, plug your VIN into realoem and look it up as the diameter is usually listed.
