Thumbs down Are you serious? LOL

I found this add on kijiji.

It's a long shot but I'm tired of paying cabbies who waste my money and can't stand the transit system in Brampton. Basically what I need is an indiviual to drive me to and from work at a fair rate I was thinking somewhere in the range $70-$80 a week. I have to be at work for 730am but finish time vary's depending on what needs to be done in the day. It's a simple quick drive from Mill and Elgin to Glidden and Hale area and back later in the day. Must be %110 reliable as both our pays depend on it. Please email if interested. My name is Chris.

You would be surprised there are lots of websites that setup carpooling. Its worth it if you work and live close by to this person. It no lose to you as its the same route but you get some gas money for it.

From my desk: It's better to arrange it without compensation. Such as you drive 1 week, the other person drives the next week.

You need to disclose carpooling activities to your broker/agent. If you get paid to do it, you need an OPCF 6 (carry passengers for compensation) endorsement on your policy. If no money exchanges hands you still need to disclose it to your insurance co. however, they typically don't charge you anything for it.
