Lightbulb Any BMW Techs?? Need pinout for DCT shifter

Hoping someone can look this up for me. Attempting to retrofit a DCT/SAT shifter (BMW part number: 61 31 9 208 271; see pic below) into my e46 auto to replace current shifter.

I have Bentley's for my e46 and have the wiring diagram and pin assignments for the current setup. Need pinouts for 12 pin connector on DCT shifter to get lights to work properly. If anyone could post or direct to where I can get it.... greatly appreciated. Delmarco had attempted mod; its his car pictured, but had intermittant light issues.... I will post complete DIY when I get it figured out.

I've searched WDS item by item and can't find that connector listed anywhere... I've found the Selector illumination and checked on every connector listed in the pics..... and then cross-refernced them.... Didn't check ECU connections.... maybe it's there.

According to what I've been able to find, the shifter is off the 08 550 sport package, but was also used in the X5 and a couple other models... A realOEM search doesn't recognise the code, but I know it's right as I ordered from BMW canada directly. Going to try and contact them tomorrow and see if they will provide the details..... Found lots of pics of the shifter; even eventully found it on realOEM, but it only shows a block diagram of the connector....

take a look at connector x1708
also look at the e60 5 series and do a search on " gear indicator "

also connector x13726

do lots of comparison before you start testing

absolutely. Got the following schematics from Maranello, but they provided the SMG interface schematic (although they did select auto trans).... Unable to reach them all afternoon to request the schematics from the Steptronic trans to the shifter as the SMG shifter is different than the Sports Steptronicand therefore should have different connections....

Pin 4 appears to be main power, and Pin 5 appaears to be ground, but the 6 wires from the SMG I would imagine are not the same for a Auto tranny.....
