Importing vehicle from states older then 15 years?

Whats the process? The guides i see just mention that its much easier but dont really go in depth.

I plan to do this in the near future and would love to know what steps i have to take with a car OLDER then 15 years (more specifically an e30).

It doesn't go through the RIV program.($195 fee, inspection at Canadian Tire, you might not need the recall clearance letter either)

Everything else is the same.
