Hello All,
I recently purchased a used BMW from one of the BMW dealerships in my area. (June 12/10) Before I even had the vehicle they informed me that they would need to bring it in for service within the next week to have the differential replaced. The car is a 2008 with 29,000km/20,000m (I think) and already needs a differential replaced which does not make much sense to me.
So I decided to still buy the vehicle as they are replacing it so why not. Now I don't know about the rest of the dealerships all of you bought your car from, but instead of using the display room out front where they seem to always give people their car they showed me my car in the back off the repair bay where it was pretty dark and I couldn't see a whole bunch of the detail of the car. I left shortly after with my new car very excited, until I got home and noticed there were stains in the back seat, yellow paint on the left rear passanger door (if you open the door its on the body not the actual door) and I also noticed some scratches in the passenger door. Now I know this is a used vehicle, but this seems to ridicolous to me especially since I paid $32,000 after taxes.
I have attached some pictures. The dealership is not open today as it is Sunday but I plan to go Monday before work and I think just straight out return it, get my money back and start my search for a new vehicle.
Thanks for any input.
