non-ix vs. ix rear brake caliper

So I checked realOEM and it says that the rear left brake caliper for a 325i is the same as a 325ix. Since realOEM isn't always 100% I just wanted to see if anyone knows if this is true from experience.

The reason I ask is because my caliper is seized and Filip has an ix caliper I can buy if it'll work.

Thanks in advance.

Lol measurment wont help! From what i remember the difference was minimal...and only obvious when you have the two side by side! But what i cant remember is if it applys for the front only, or ther rear too...

Sorry, its been years since i did it, and my memory isnt what it used to be! lol
If i get a minute, i will remove both and compare...

it might be the same come to think of it... the trailing arm is the same, the rear hub is different(wider) and the rear disc hat is deeper, the hat and hub might cancel each other out just fine.
