E30 rims -16s with 7.5 ( and rear 9.5???
Hi everyone,
Im very close to purchasing some Azevs-16s (16x7.5 ET28 front...
16x9 ET15 rear) for my 90' E30 cab.
My questions is.... do you think I'll have any issues with the wider tires in the back? My car isn't lowered....
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!!!

u might have rubbing over bumps as a 9.5" wheel is pretty wide for that car. I suspect your tires are going to stick out from the wheel arch. u also have to keep the clearance between the inner rim lip and the shock in mind. even if the offset is deeper you have to clear everything.
very important note: the more tread you have contacting the surface of the road the more likely your car will be harder to handle. these are not designed for super wide rims unless you have done some serious mods.
Stick with something relatively close to factory width,.going to wide changes the handling/driving characteristics of the car.

I would go max 8 or 8.5, I think you would be rubbing suspension with 9"?
and how the F*** did you get AZEVS? what type are they? I ordered some last year but they stopped production.......

it's possible she found old stock somewhere in the warehouse. I just called a guy for some tires I bought 5 years ago and he said they stopped making it. Then checked his stock and found 4 lying around.

You can ask in the sticky for tire sizes and stuff : http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54146
I think it would look weird on a non lowered suspension

My bad... they are Azevs Type As.... and I also meant 9s in the rear. From what it looks like... stretching and purchasing specific tires would be my only option. Rolling my fenders isnt likely due to my new paint job.
I found them used but in great conditon I've tried getting them brand even tried with the Borbet type As... but they're not making them anymore.
@W2WDetailing... my car's back on the road... I took it to an audio shop and they fixed my radio. They car is running great with some minor things that need to be changed. Little by little... we're getting there!
