Tmp track times ???

i did a 1:23 there yesterday, but still half a second slower than my best time which was done last friday. Hard to really push the car when your tires are corded

I think i know which type R and who the driver is that did the 1:17...and yes, it has/was done.

i have a lap timer on my bike, i just have to set up my beacon on the wall divider on the front straight and im good to go. They are really acurate. When racing, they have an rf system that times eack bike. U just have to put an rfid tag on your bike and its all good. I cant imagine cars being much different then bikes for timing

Yep the type r stole the record from sasha aka sg motorsports 350z race car.

1.17 is a blistering fast lap.

in stock car with street tires? if not, than who cares? lap time makes sense only if we talk about similar cars on similar tires. otherwise it's just a number that can be reached either by very good driver in moderate car or moderate driver in very good car. put most of you in formula 1 car with proper setup for TMP and this record will be beaten by half

The car still has the original interior (not stripped), and no not street tires, on slicks.

On another note, the original thread never asked for stock cars on street tires.

Feel free to drop by Kensai Lapping at Mosport GP as he's always there. He's a very good driver and I believe he races for Kensai Racing (not sure if he still does anymore).

was it a built motor...yes, was it a pretty insane driver - yes.

as mentioned the OP didn't say anything about tires, brakes, suspension.
