guys not to be a jerk or anything but we know how far the drive is, we have already started planning it out but the initial question was who wants to come with us on the drive. If you bring friends you can switch up the drive with each tank of gas and plus the drive there is part of the fun.

Just saying don't let the distance of the drive discourage you it will be fun. We are traveling through most of the states and right through Las Vegas. And you might say the desert will be boring but i've never driven through a desert or ever done a trip like this.

This thread was a recruitment thread, so if your interested at all let us know and we will try to give you more details.

Thanks guys!

Bimmerfest isnt until May 1st. So there is LOTS of time to decide but still to early to plan drive dates. That all depends how long people want to stay.

I'm sorry to bring this old thread up again, but are you guys still planning to come down here for bimmerfest? It's only two more months away. I am already down here in Arizona and would be cool seeing more Ontario plates cars at bimmerfast in Cal, beside mine.

Well, bimmerfest is going to be later in May due to their new location at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on May 22. I know a few guys are going from Arizona (AZBMW . org), around 20 cars and we are all staying at the Courtyard Marriott Pasadena/Old Town (1-626-403-7600)
https://www.marriott.com/hotels/trav...dena-old-town/
When you guys called to make a reservation just say that you want the bimmerfest promotion and you'll get discount for your room (I hope I didn't break any forum rules for this). Also, there will be other BMW groups there are staying at the hotel as well.
